Monsters at Studio K18

A group exhibition centred on the Monstrous with artists Mio Elias Halvarson, Helena Perminger, Beatrice Alvestad Lopez, Hanna Hjalmarson, Lizzie Abbott and Matilda Envall.

Works presented were;

Transformative Relations, photo-printed textile and clay sculpture, 2022

Presented in the monster exhibition, is my piece Transformative Relations- an installation of a photo-printed textile with a motive from nature and a sculpture in clay. The sculpture is made by hand, with inscribed patterns. The installation is a scene, inwhich nature and organic form -representation and dream is presented together.

Sea Monster, performance film, 7min, wooden frame, 2023

As well presented is the film; Sea Monster (7min) made in collaboration with Anastasia Savinova. We spent a week at Holmön, developing the project Sea Monster, collecting washed up debris and attaching it to a fishing net that became the costume for ourmoving image performance. Sea Monster relate to pollution and trash of the oceans, taking on a mythical form as the Sea Monster.
